Boris
came to live with me in May at the mature age of nine. Triangle
Italian Greyhound Rescue made me his fourth Mommy. I have been so happy
to add him to the menagerie that includes, brother cat Buddy, and three
other cats, and three fish. Here he is in his Halloween costume!
His obedience training was very rusty in a breed that can be a bit high
strung so we've been working on it to the point where he now heels while
walking off-leash and responds to many more commands, almost always
without hesitation! He loves a good walk, prefers a run, loves a bath
and any treats. He's very good around his kitty brothers and never met a
stranger. He's a very big boy (20 pounds) in a breed that's toy class
(5-15 pounds). And after having many bad teeth removed, his health is
stellar! He lives to socialize and is only a little hesitant around very
large dogs. He dances and sometimes will pirouette up to four times around
for a teeny greenie and he can leap straight up in the air as well as
any Jack Russell. I love him very, very much. He's added so much fun to
my daily walks.
