Izzy
is a fourteen
week old black lab mix, We have had her for a little over five weeks now,
and she has become such an important part of our family in Lawrenceburg, Indiana!
Recently, I fell very ill upon a Saturday, and Izzy really showed us her
loyal side. I was laid up in bed the entire day, and at one point, was in
tears because I was feeling that bad. Izzy would climb in bed with me, lay
her head on the pillow next to mine, and rub her nose on my cheek until I
told her I was ok, and repeated this every few minutes. And that evening
when it was time for her to retire to her bed, she refused to leave my
side the entire night. I have never met a dog so loyal at such a young
age, and also as sensitive and loving as her.
She made my heart melt the first time we met her, but has really shown her
loyalty to our family in such a short time. Izzy is great with our 13, 10
and 2 year old, and is very playful. We love her and can't remember what
our life was like before her!
