After
we lost our dog of thirteen years I saw her picture on the Dalmatian
rescue site. It was love at first sight and she came to live with us. She
was adopted from the Southwest Dalmatian Rescue, Phoenix, AZ in April 2006.
I've had some wonderful dogs over the years and they all leave a hole in
your heart when they cross the bridge. Anna is the most attentive, eager to
please, happy to see you dog I've ever had. Where ever I am Anna is not far
away. She has learned many tricks, loves to go for walks and ride in the
car. My husband and I play doggy keep away with a tennis ball until one of
us drops the ball and then it's Anna's turn to evade us. Our
eighteen-month-old granddaughters love her and can say her name. Anna
presents herself to be poked and prodded with a smile. Anna is a most
loving companion. We call her the furry kid and hope to enjoy her for many
years.
She is totally devoted to her people, loves to play ball, swim in the pool,
do tricks, be your shadow and somehow figured out the house schedule and
how to read the signs when one of her people is preparing to depart and
alerts who ever is home when return is eminent. We feel fortunate to be
blessed with such a great companion.
Anna is saying "Get off the couch and play with me!"
