This
is Foster - a very handsome nine-year-old mixed breed dog with an
extremely big head! Foster came to live with me after being left at
the MSPCA. He had been hit by a car and his owner decided he could not
pay the bill and therefore surrendered the dog. He had a broken leg,
ruptured bladder and kennel cough. However, I saw past the bandages and
cast and decided that he would come live with me.
We had a rough start - he marked everything in his path - furniture,
rugs, clothes, radiators, you name it! and ate anything and everything!
He also chased the cats mercilessly. Neutering soon calmed his inner
beast and ever afterwards we all lived copacetically... except for the
occasional cat chase! His likes were simple - running errands with me,
car rides, Frosty Paws, wading (he would not swim!) and his best bud
Bashert.
Foster died on January 8th, 2007. I can't believe an entire year has
gone by without him in my life. Long live my bigheaded boy in our
memories!
