We
adopted Luna in July from the animal rescue center, Waggy Tails. I
never had a dog before and I did not know what to expect. But I knew that
deep in my heart Luna was my dog from looking at this very picture from
the website. When I met her, her foster mom told me that she was eight years
old, and I could not believe it! Luna looked like a puppy, and she is
filled with so much energy and spunk! She is the dog that I always dreamed
of and now she is mine. Luna is cheerful, loving, active, playful and
always full of surprises. She's a Chihuahua mixed with Yorkie.
Luna quickly has become the center of attention in my family and she has
become my best friend. Although Luna has short legs, she is very agile and
quick; she has won me in many relay races. Because of Luna, I can't wait
to get home from work everyday to get her loving kisses and barks. Luna is
definitely the sunshine in my day!
