I
was going through a very rough time after the loss of my husband and
then my seven-year-old dog was getting sick from grief. I just couldn't
bear losing him too and being alone so I decided that what I needed was
a puppy.
So off I went to the Humane Society and fell in love the second I saw
this little guy. He is part German Shepherd, part whatever. When I
brought him home, my other dog started playing, eating and having a
grand old time and now he is going on nine years old and still acting like
a dog of maybe two years old.
I took Bwana to obediance school and he was the hit of the class. He
just loves attention, whether it's from a person or other dog. I take
him all over with me now and he is a pleasure to have as company. He is
so well behaved, people are always complimenting me on how good he is.
His favorite thing to do is play, play and play some more. Especially
jumping through the hula hoop and catching frisbees. He sure gives me a
lot of exercise and I love every minute of it.
He celebrated his first birthday on June 22nd and yes, he had himself a
party. He sure does deserve it!
