My
name is Tammi, I am three and I love my family! My owners picked me up
from the shop on 09/19/05. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I was sitting in my pen laying down. The dogs beside me were noisy. I
wanted to say something. But I couldn't because I was sick. I was tired
and I had a cough. So while I lay down on the ground, another couple of
people came in and started looking around for a dog to bring in. As
the two looked around the shop, a little girl came straight toward me.
She yelled, "Daddy! I want this one! Look at how calm she is!" I got up
so they could see me better. The father came over and told this girl to
keep looking around. but the girl refused. The dad gave in and they both
bought me. It was the best day of my life. That day, my owner was
sitting in the back of her truck with me. She and her dad kept throwing
out names. When this girl said "Tammi!" I looked at her desperately. I
loved that name!
While time passed, my owners figured out some of my favorites. For
example, they found out that my favorite color is purple, and
my favorite animal is elephants. My owner, Shelby, who is now eleven, has
become my best friend. I love to sleep with her at night and lick her
face in the morning.
My personality is very energetic. I am also lovable because I love
anyone I meet. And 99% of the time they love me!
Tammi's mom here: I know that Tammi's favorite animal is an elephant
because when we were shopping for toys and she always would pick out
elephants that squeaked, so we are guessing that elephants are her
favorite animal. Also, her favorite color is purple because she always
seems attracted to purple items. Tammi's favorite activities are
probably eating and playing frisbee. She is definitely not the frisbee
master, but she's getting there!
