This
is my dog Jill. She is one year old and a Korean Jindo. She was
found in the streets of Korea Town here in Los Angeles. She had been
abandoned and was rescued by the Jindo Rescue Project. One day I was
on their website and saw this adorable dog that needed a good home but
the requirement was a home that had another dog. Since I already have a
male Jindo dog named Jack, I knew that this was fate.
So I got in touch with the rescue group, introduced Jill with Jack and
they became fast friends. They play with each other at our home in
Westwood, California and enjoy going everyday to our local dog park in
Brentwood, California.
Jill is very affectionate with Jack, they play everyday together and run
like the wind at our dog park. Lately Jill has been greeting me in the
morning with kisses on my forehead. She never used to get up on my bed;
but now jumps up, gives me kisses and goes back to playing with Jack.
She doesn't do any special tricks; but she is known to steal the tennis
balls from other dogs at the dog park and play with them by herself.
Both dogs in the beginning were very timid and it took a couple of
months of constant companionship to let them trust me. They are very
loyal and protective of me. My family is finally complete!
