We
first got Maggie almost ten years ago, and since then she has been the best
dog we could have asked for. She is a typical Springer, very hyper (even at age
ten!), loves the water, bunnies, and squirrels, too. We take her to the lake as
often as we can in the summer and once she gets in the water it is extremely
hard to get her out.
She also loves "peanut butter jar day", which is when she gets to lick out the
rest of the peanut butter in the jar once it's empty, and that's what is
happening in that picture. She is usually pretty camera shy and runs away even
at the sound of the camera, but I managed to get her in the act.
Maggie also loves to greet us at the door with our slippers. She always has to
have something in her mouth when someone comes home and that's usually what
she picks up. It is really cute, but sometimes we end up with only one slipper
because she leaves them all over the house.
We love our dog very much and can't imagine a day without her happy wagging
tail!
