This
is Jenni, our one-year-old Havanese girl. Her original owner had to go to
a nursing home permanently, so we accepted her into our home at four months.
Jenni is a smart girl, she sits and begs on command. We didn't teach her
that, but she taught us. Her brush is a favorite toy, more than balls or
other "toys."
Most of all Jenni is special because she is such a loving dog. We take her to
the nursing home now to visit her original owner and she also visits the other
patients. She loves everyone and they love to pet her. So she has become sort
of a pet therapy dog! It wasn't planned that way, but she is a natural - it's
like she was born to bring people smiles.
