Baby
was a stray dog that made her way in my back yard many years ago and
never left. Since my husband and I don't have kids, the name Baby was a
perfect fit for her.
Almost exactly one year ago to the date my husband and I found out that she
had cancer. We were devastated. When friends, family and followers of my
website heard she was
sick they brought over dog cookies, someone mailed a Christmas ornament that
looked like her and she even got her very own little baby Christmas Tree!
The vet gave her four to six weeks to live a year ago and she defied the odds and is
still alive! She's a trooper. She has been a blessing to my husband and I.
I've included several pictures of her, including one of her checking out the
pizza I burned... I'm not the best cook, by she doesn't seem to mind. :-)
Baby does incredible tricks, she like to play catch and she jumps very high
to catch balls. She can't wait to go on car rides and join me on the streets
to pass out gospel tracts to people (these are little pieces of paper - like a
business card - that have a gospel message on them). Since we don't know how
long Baby is going to live, we thought it best to have her join us to tell
others about how they can know where they are going to go when they die, and
she enjoys meeting everyone.
