Dixie
is amazing. When she came into the shelter I work at almost a year ago
at nine weeks, it was love at first sight. I never imagined myself having
another small dog, but there was just something about her. I told my boss if
nobody came for her, my family and I would love to have her. Those three days that
went by my family and I were on pins and needles.
Those three days went by and nobody came to claim her, so after she was spayed she
was to come home with us! She has been a joy to own, she is extremely smart
and extremely sweet. When people come over to the house she thinks they are
there to see her. It's so cute! When she gets excited she just has to put
a ball or a toy in her mouth and make silly noises. Every time you wake up or
come back from the store or work, she can't wait to greet you! It's always
great to come home to her being a goofball, I honestly don't know what we'd do
without her. She has been the best thing that's ever happened to us since our
old dogs Rocky and Jenny died. She has been a true blessing and we can't ever
imagine our lives without her! We love you Dixie Loo!
