Otto, the Dog of the Day
Name: Otto
Age: One year old
Gender: Male Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer
Home: New York, USA

Otto is a German Shorthaired Pointer, which is a versatile hunting dog. A German Shorthair can do much more than hunt though. They are active in agility and rally, along with obedience. Otto is a dog that loves to please. He is originally from Keystone Kennels in Pennsylvania. I got him when he was eight weeks old. Otto is tons of fun! He is an excellent hunter: Our family won't starve with Otto around.

This dog is the best dog I have ever had. He has a perfect personality. There is nothing better than an Otto greeting at the end of a work day. His favorite game is fetch. Otto loves the water and will swim just for fun. Hiking is a favorite activity. He may run up ahead - but he always comes back to see exactly where I am. Otto can fetch, point, give paw, lay down, sit, come, roll over, leave it and unfortunately counter surf. We are working on that bad habit. Anyway - he is just the best!!!
