Scruff
is extra special because of the bad start in life she had before my father
rescued her from her previous owners who neglected her. She is a proper
Daddy's girl and when my dad is ill she will try to tell him and me, and
sometimes wakes me up at night to help him. She also likes riding in the
tractor when my dad mows the field and she likes posing for the camera.
She is very independent, but if she wants her belly rubbed, she can be very
affectionate. Her favorite game is "I'm gonna get it" where you pretend to
get her ball or chew before she does. She loves a cup of tea and chicken for
dinner. Her best trick is, she knows her left and right, so if she wants her
treat ,she will give you her left paw, right paw or sit up and give you both
depending on which one you ask for. Also she likes to talk to people to get
attention, as she likes to be the center of attention whenever possible. She
does not like strangers or other dogs because of her past, but the people she
does know she adores.
