We
adopted Dasha from the Edmonton Humane Society about a year ago. Previous
to adopting Dasha our old dog Scotty passed away due to cancer. The family was
very sad about the loss of Scotty but we figured that we could open our hearts
to a new dog, and the Edmonton Humane society seemed like a great place to
adopt from because the dogs there really are in need of homes.
When we first took Dasha home she had some behavioral problems. She especially
loved to dig holes and shred everything that she possibly could, but now after
a bit of training she is the perfect dog. Although she is no longer a puppy,
she still has all the same energy that a puppy would. She loves playing fetch
and tug of war, and she especially loves squeaky toys. Dasha also loves going
for long walks but at the end of the day she loves to curl up in front of the
fireplace or cuddle on the couch. Dasha is really special to us, we wouldn't
trade her for anything.
