I
did not get Piper to replace another dog after my poodle, Muffie had to be
put down in 1999. In fact, after Muffie, I swore I would never have another
dog; however in late 2009, I began checking out Yorkie sites on the computer.
I commenced to document all data and found the right one. I visited Piper and
fell in love with her adorable little face. She finally reached two pounds,
and Gary and I got to take her home.
She has been #1 in our home and heart since January 2, 2010. She goes with us
everywhere pets are permitted and has given us so much love. I sometimes feel
that I don't give as much love as I receive because she follows me like a
shadow, showers me with kisses and lays as close to me as she can.
When I first got her, she would go into the pantry, and somehow or another, pull
sweet potatoes out of the pantry that weighed more than she does. I bought her a
new bag of dogfood (five pounds) and she managed to pull that out in the hall.
Piper only weighs three pounds eight oz. Piper doesn't know a lot of tricks;
but, she is full of love and, and love matters the most to me. I feel privileged
to have been blessed with such an adorable, sweet loveable puppy. I am glad she
changed my mind, and cannot imagine life without her now!
