Brady
and Sox are Patriotic Pups and the welcome waggers on our court! Neighbors
coming home from work are greeted by these to happy doggies. They sit together
in the backyard waiting for the next neighbor's car. Then they run along the
length of the yard till they can't see their friends anymore. We have been told
that Brady and Sox can cheer up our neighbors just by seeing their tails wagging
excitedly to see them.
Brady is half lab and maybe half boxer about four years old and Sox is a full
lab only a year and half. Unfortunately high kill shelter dogs do not have
complete medical information. Both would have been victim of the BBD curse if
left there, as large black dogs are often the last to be adopted, for no good
reason, I might add. We are just glad they have been healthy and wonderful since
we brought them home!
With long walks, jogs and car rides these "brothers" explore all over De Kalb, Illinois.
Brady and Sox can't wait to play fetch or rumble together. Tummy rubs and
treat time are a must!!! Both have mingled and cheered with the other dogs at
the Chicago White Sox Dog Day. And lastly, by walking in parades, our doggies
support our local Humane Society and our Military!
My husband, son and I our so blessed with Brady and Sox! They have enriched our
lives in countless ways! I'm their mom and am a Veteran of the Army and a member
the VFW/American Legion Post 43, and also Teacher of Awesome 6th, 7th and 8th Graders!
