Although
we have only had Troy for a few short months, he has easily become
one of the best pets we have ever owned. We adopted him from the SPCA in
August of 2011. He didn't show a lot of interest in the people and shied
away in the corner of his cage, but once we approached him and looked into
each others eyes, we knew he had to come home with us.
Troy is such a spirited dog and he is absolutely amazing! From the moment
we got him, he made himself right at home and chose his bed. (Even though
it was our Yorkshire Terrier's bed, he still tried to fit in it!) He got
along so easily with our smaller dog, Max and became his instant big
brother in other words.
Troy is so energetic and loves to play with his toy balls. He has no shame
in bringing the ball to you every minute of every day! Sometimes I think he
dreams about playing catch because he loves his toys so much! He runs so
fast to catch the balls and if it's a good throw, he might even catch it
mid air! He is such a smart dog and quickly learned every trick he knows in
two days! His favorite trick would have to be Speak because he gets a treat
every time. He is super cute and playful! He loves his family so much and
always wants to be by their sides. He follows us around the house and likes
to place his head on our knees so he can get a nose rub! He is angelic,
gorgeous, and completely adorable in every way possible! He guards the
house, his family, and even his little brother, Max! He is such a special
dog to us and all of our friends can never say enough about him. And even
though he is getting older, he never once pretends he is any older than a
new pup. We like to think that he is an inspiration to older dogs because
of his high energy! He's been around for awhile now but even then the balls
are never too high for him to catch! We love Troy so much and we are
positive that he loves us as well!
