Shadow
means the world to me and my family but especially to my
sixteen-year-old daughter, Aryelle. It is amazing how much he made her open
up and become more outgoing. He loves her more than anything else.
We almost lost him last January due to a protein losing disorder that was
caused by Inflammatory Bowel Disease. My sharp eye noticed he was putting
on weight but hardly eating. Now he is on prescription dog food and a pill
every other day possibly for the rest of his life. Shadow is five and a
half years old now and we hope he will be with us for many more years.
He loves to lick and has this thing for peoples feet. He loves to lick
them! The only trick he knows is to jump when we ask him if he is hungry.
He likes to run to me and my daughter. He will go back and forth between us
with lots of enthusiasm! He is special to all of us.
