Stormie
is a beautiful female two-year-old Boston Terrier we purchased this
summer from Grayhaven Bostons in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is a show quality
black Boston; her full AKC name is Tempest in a Teacup which is fitting.
Her mother is Grayhaven's Apocalypse Now and her sire Sharon Valley's
Strykin It Rich, an AKC champion. Despite her petite size at 9-10#, she has
a huge personality. She is completing her first obedience class where she
is the class star but also the class clown among her huge classmates, a
Rottweiler, Golden retriever, Labrador, Bernese mountain dog, and large
mutt.
Stormie loves to eat and is very diligent about searching the kitchen for
crumbs several times daily. She is also the new delight of our neighborhood
and has befriend Jessie, a black Lab and Maggie, another Boston. Her
brother Gambler and sister Alice are ten year old Boston Terriers. They are
still somewhat in shock over the addition of such a young and undignified
sister!
Stormie loves to take walks around the neighborhood and at nearby
Greenfield Park, where our progress is slow because so many kids want to
pet her, Gambler, and Alice. Actually, she usually runs instead of walking!
After a couple of daily walks she is ready to sleep in the sun or near our
fireplace on cold days. Other activities include "beating up" her stuffed
toy Lambiedoodle and barking at squirrels who dare to invade her yard.
Boston Terriers are a fantastic breed as they are small, clean,
intelligent, loving and lively. We would be lost without our three fur babies!
