Hi
People, this is Emo! He is a mix of a border collie and something else
smaller. I'll let him tell you about himself.
I was found one cold night in February 1999 by this lady who saw my plight
and took me home. I was wandering in a hospital parking lot when she
spotted me. I was skinny, dirty, starving, my coat was tangled and I was
scared. I had no tags and I tended to roam and got myself lost. She offered
me some dry kibble and I wolfed it down, then readily hopped in her car. I
could tell she cared.
The next day she took me to her vet, these super nice humans at Rancho Mesa
Vet in San Diego, where they checked me over. Shortly after that I went in
for this quick operation something called neutering?, I felt fine though
afterwards, maybe a tad sore. Then she said, "Ready to go home?" and I
wagged my tail.
I'm on old guy now. I live happily with Juanita and Furgus (two bossy
Chihuahuas) and my human. Take me in the car anywhere and I'm in heaven.
Rub my tail area and vicinity and I'm yours for life. If I could say one
last thing it's this: If you ever see one of my brothers or sisters on the
street lost looking, don't drive or walk on by thinking someone else will
do something... you do it, okay? Thanks in advance.
And one more thing: Please, don't buy or breed while shelter pets die!
