Titan, the Dog of the Day
Name: Titan
Age: Eighteen months old
Gender: Male Breed: German Shepherd
Home: Ontario, Canada

My Name is Lisa and this is pic of my not-so-little puppy Titan. Titan is a Long Hair DDR Shepherd. He roams the country side in Lambton County in Ontario Canada. Titan lives with his two older brothers Rocco (a fifteen-year-old chow/siberian mix) and Ricco (an eight-year-old Choclate lab/blood hound mix). We decided to get him as a consoling dog to help Ricco and ourselves when Roc was getting sick and we were thinking the worst. Titan bought some joy to help him but time and age are dwindling him fast. Titan shows a love and devotion I have experienced before in our other dogs but honestly not in the way he conveys. He's a play mate for Ricco and definitely a clown. We laugh at him loads cause of the experssions and things he does.

Titan defintely is a big boy only to get bigger so I'm told. He's very handsome. Only thing a lot of people said they would change is his one ear. It's lazy and decided not to go up at all. It's okay, though, it's what builds his character. He's Very protective and very loving. In the mornings he has a ritual, he gets his morning kiss from my hubby then comes to me. Soon as kisses are done next are hugs and rubs, first hubby then back to me. He's adopted a trait my lab does. Ricco goes through your legs stops half way to be patted on the butt. Titan does the same, however as tall he is, he nearly knocks you off your feet.

The last crazy characteristic he has is he loves water. Many times he's joined my son in the shower. Once on an outing he was running down the bank and jumping in the river. My hubby walked down with him. Titan ran by him, spinning my husband around with his leash and my husband landed in the river. All I could do was laugh, as my hubby got his footing. Titan thought that Dad was drowning, and ran down the bank and jumped in. He circled my hubby barking frantically. Two guys on wave runner came over to make sure he was okay. I was laughing said thank you but all is good. Titan walked up the hill so proud. I said to my husband, "Hey he did save you!" My husband said "I wouldn't have been in the water if he didnt knock me in!!!"

All in all hes an amazing pup. The love devotion and unconditional love he gives totally amazes me more and more every day.Noone knows a better love that a Dog owner. I am extremely fortune because i have the unconditional love of Rocco, Ricco and definitely of my Mighty Titan !!!

Titan was eighteen months old Yesterday and wow he is a big boy, but loved never the less. Getting his first real taste of snow this year and loving it. You know you're in trouble when he can sit at the table and is a head taller! We love You Pita Pup!
