This
is Kibbles, she is one year old and is a mixed breed dog (German
Shepherd, Rottweiler, Shetland Sheepdog). When we got her as a puppy they
swore that she was just Sheltie but we knew better, so we took her to the vet
and they told us what she was mixed with. Even though when we saw her and
knew she wasn't what she was supposed to be, we knew we needed to bring her
home, the place she was at was not a nice place. She was there with her
brother (who, a few days later we also went and brought home).
Ever since she came to us she has become just like a kid, she always wants to
loved cuddled and pampered, but her two most favorite things are playing and
being around my three-year-old son. When he goes somewhere without her, she just
sits and barks at the doors and windows. She's fine if someone else leaves,
it's just him that she reacts that way about. When he lays down, she lays
right at his feet. One day we did find out that she is protective of our son,
which in one way is good, but we did break her a little of that, before it
could become a problem. She has brought so much love to our home, we couldn't
imagine not having her close to us now. She is such a family dog, when you
use the washroom she lays by your feet, and when you shower she is right
beside the tub (although she hates water). She just wants to be with us!
