About Us
Gracie, the Dog of the Day
Name: Gracie
Age: One year old
Gender: Female Breed: English Bulldog
Home: Binghamton, New York, USA

Gracie is a sweet, stubborn, lazy English Bulldog who makes us smile every single day. When we first got Gracie as an eight week old, six pound puppy, little did we realize that she was sick with the parvovirus due to improper vaccination by her breeder. Three days after we brought her home we had to bring her to the hospital and were told that at best she had a 50% chance of survival. Although the odds weren't great, in true Gracie fashion she fought her way through being sick and came out the other end smiley, wiggly, and hungry.

Ever since that first scare Gracie has spent every day living life to the fullest and trying to catch up on the snuggles she missed during that week in the hospital. Even though Gracie is now a feminine 40 pounds, she still insists on spending her time snuggled in our laps. On long walks Gracie frequently decides that she is done with her exercise and refuses to walk any further. She has been known to slip out of her harness and run home or stop dead in her tracks and insist on being carried home like a baby. Gracie never fails to put a smile on the face of each person she meets. Gracie is the most lovable dog you could ever hope to meet, and if you happen to be lucky enough to see her in the park she'll surely have a big bulldog smile on her face and a giant bulldog tongue hanging out of her mouth.
