This
is my little baby, Zoie! Her name is Zoie Duffy, and she is a Yorkie.
We live in Park Ridge, NJ, although Zoie was born in Virginia! She should
be honored because every day no matter how bad my day is and how hard work
has been, Zoie greets me at the door so excited to see me and just wants
to give kisses and snuggle! She is the best dog you could ever ask for.
She is sweet, loyal, playful and the kind of friend people would be lucky to have.
I got Zoie when I was eighteen years old. She was just a little peanut when I
got her! She could fit inside my hand and I loved her instantly. She is
the princess of the house and loves everyone to pay attention to her! She
will greet anyone that comes to the house and just kiss them! We call her
the little bed hopper because she takes a turn sleeping in everyone's bed
in my house at night! She loves to curl up next to me under the blankets
to keep warm.
Zoie loves to play with her pink monkey. Pink Monkey is a stuffed animal I
got and I guess it's bright color attracted her! She loves that monkey and
loves when I hide it in places and tell her to find it! She knows exactly
what I mean and will always look to the "usual" spots! She loves our other
dog maggie and wants to play with her all the time even though maggie is
getting older!
Zoie's favorite treats are pieces of cheese and pizza crust! Also, because
she is such a good girl every Thanksgiving I make her own special plate of
dinner! She gets a teeny tiny spoonful of each Thanksgiving classic. She
doesn't like cranberry sauce but she goes nuts for the turkey!!
She is the most spoiled little girl in the whole world but she deserves
every bit of it. She will stay by your side when you are sad or upset and
will kiss away any tears you may have because she only wants to see you happy.
Whether we are curled up watching Grey's Anatomy or outside taking on an
adventure, she is the happiest little Yorkie there ever was... except
maybe when it's bath time! She doesn't like the water but she does take a
swim every now and then on a hot summer day in my grandma's pool!
