Introducing
Keller! This sweet little boy is the newest addition to our
family. Keller came into the rescue I work for (Delaware Valley Golden
Retriever Rescue, DVGRR) and it was love at first sight! Even though he's
not a Golden Retriever he sure showed up at the right rescue(s), from the
moment he arrived I knew he was meant to be part of my family!
Keller had originally been found wandering a camp ground and was in really
bad shape when a wonderful Golden Retriever Rescue in Tennessee took him
in and placed him with a loving foster family where he lived for three months
before he was in good enough shape to travel and make his way to
Pennsylvania and DVGRR!
Keller is a special boy, he's deaf and is partially blind, but don't tell
him that! He's too busy having fun! We've recently enrolled in obedience
class where he's learning hand signals and gaining more and more obedience
skills. I can't say enough wonderful things about him. Everyone that meets
him adores him, and he just loves my other dogs, Elvis (a beagle mix) and
Jack, a Golden Retriever.
It is so hard to believe that someone just left this wonderful boy at a
campground. But thank goodness for those souls that stepped in to save
him. I couldn't imagine my life without my little man!
I hope you all enjoy the story of Keller and his pictures!
