This
is my little girl Candy Cotton. She loves her Mommy, but is
definitely a Daddy's girl. She is a typical Sheltie and loves to run, spin
and jump, and loves rough housing with her older Sheltie brother Ripper.
Candy had a tough start in life, when she was ten months old we discovered
her back leg was deformed and she had to have surgery to straighten her
paw. She now has a metal plate and pins, but that doesn't slow her down at
all. She is quick as lightning when a squirrel dares to enter her yard.
That is how she bonded with her Daddy, he had to take her to get a new
cast every week for almost three months.
She will sit in front of you for hours as long as you keep petting her and
if you stop she will paw you until you start again. She doesn't like to
cuddle though. and will only give one kiss at a time and only to certain
people, except her Daddy gets as many as he wants. She makes us laugh
every day with her quirky behavior. She does not like the song La
Cucaracha and will bark like crazy if you sing it. She also loves for her
Daddy to shake his keys and barks and spins until he stops. Candy and
Ripper are our fur babies and we love and spoil them both.
