This
is Ella, my lovable little Golden-doodle. We adopted her when she was
a year old from a friend-of-a-friend who just didn't have the time to care
for her. Since then she has been spoiled rotten. She likes to sleep in for
at least an hour later than the time the rest of the family gets up, we
always have her favorite doggy-treats available, and she receives
attention from somebody at all hours of the day. Ella loves to be around
people. When she can't be petted or cuddled with, she will settle for just
holding hands. She actually paws at my hand while I am working at the
computer! She loves spooning, and will do so at any possible chance. When
she's not cuddling, Ella loves to play. One of her favorite games is
peek-a-boo, with her special orange towel.
Ella is rarely misbehaved, but she will occasionally get into the trash or
hop onto the counter. When she does this, she gets all sheepish, with her
head hung low and this guilty look in her eyes. It's usually hard to get
mad at her because this expression is too cute! Ella has her own little
way of punishing us too. If we ever go out of town for a few days she'll
generally be a little miffed when we get back. She'll be a little arrogant
and make us beg for her attention as if to say " I was better off without
you guys anyways!" but she always comes around within a few hours of our
return. Ella can be a little scaredy-cat sometimes. She has a fear of the
dark, a fear of ceiling fans, a fear of mirrors, and a fear of guitars.
Whenever she walks beneath a ceiling fan she runs between the legs of the
nearest person, and likes to have a good cuddle to calm down.
Essentially Ella is just a little lover. All she wants out of life is to
have some good company around. She is good at making friends with
strangers and loves her family more than anything else in the world. A
good day for Ella involves a few naps, a trip to the park, a game of
peek-a-boo, and plenty of hugs and kisses.
