This
is Kirby, she is thirteen years old, and was adopted from GreytHounds
of Eastern Michigan (don't forget that "t" in the middle, she'd remind you
that greyhounds are great hounds)! And while adopting is a great idea, I
will caution you though - if you tend to keep precious things on a low
table, a greyhound tail can clear it in a flash!
Kirby is a girl. She is very sweet, loves to cuddle, will lay beside me
and put her head in my lap. She is mostly a couch potato like most
Greyhounds, except when it is playtime. She knows her basic commands, and
is pretty good about them. And unlike some dogs we know, she is polite! If
she knows treats are available, will sit and wait until you give her one.
And at Halloween, she even willing wore her "bus" costume. Even at thirteen, she
loves to run around a fenced-in yard. And she loves her stuffies and will
toss them up in the air and catches them! We love her a lot!
