This
is Phoenix! She's the best thing that has happened to my family ever.
She has this blanket that used to be what my family and I used, but she
started dragging it everywhere and now it's officially hers. She will bring
it up to you and lay down on top of you and curl up with her blanket. She
definitely thinks she's a lap dog despite being 80 pounds. She loves running
around on the carpet because our house is mainly hardwood floors, so she
can't resist tearing around when there's carpet and she can get traction. One
of her quirks is that she doesn't like to play fetch; she likes for us to
throw the stick (she doesn't like tennis balls) and then she'll just run
around with it until we have to chase her to get it back. Something that has
come about recently because of the cold weather is that we have been making
fires in our fireplace and it has become the place to see Phoenix. Since she
has just short hair, she can get cold easily, so the fireplace is the best
place for her to be nice and warm.
