We
got Duke when he was three months old from a farm about 30 minutes away
from us. His mom is a purebred red Border Collie and his dad is a black Lab.
Duke is my whole world and I couldn't imagine what my life would be like
without him. We have two other dogs Daisy and Billie and we had puppies
about six months ago and he was so amazing with them, he would clean up after
them, play with them and protect them.
I think Duke is special because he is so sweet, but will protect me if he
needs to. Duke is also special because my two-year-old nephew lives with us
and he will play with him and listen to him and be very gentle even though
he's a very hyper dog otherwise. He loves water and playing fetch. Duke is
chocolate brown and red in the sun, he has lighter marbling on his paws and
ears and his tail is silver on the bottom like a deer, he also has the most
gorgeous gold eyes. Duke overall is a very unusual dog but I wouldn't trade
him for anything.
