Hi
there, Oliver here!
I am a veterinarian's dog that travels around and experiences life in an
emergency veterinary hospital. When I am not learning about ways to keep me
safe and how to deal with sickness and emergencies, I am playing with my
four human brothers and sisters. They love to dress me up in silly hats. My
mom is a photographer and she loves taking photos of me. She helps me with
my own blog called Olivers Bark About. You can follow my life at
Oliver's Bark About. My favorite things to do are swimming,
chasing a ball, going on hikes and eating (of course, 'cause I'm a lab).
I am very friendly, I love to greet all the pets that come into the
hospital. I feel like, since I am so calm, it helps them not be so scared. I
have learned so many tricks in the last two years. My favorite trick taking
all of my family's socks off at night. I go from one person to another and
pull their socks off. I don't eat them or anything, just run around and
throw them up in the air and move on to the next sock to be removed. I also
can balance dog biscuits on my nose, crawl like a soldier, and go to my
brother's room in the morning to drag him out of bed!
I love swimming, chasing frogs, jumping off rocks and diving underwater. I
absolutely love my mom, my dad gave me to her for Christmas! She takes me
everywhere and we hike and run together everyday. I have a lot of energy and
she knows that the only way I am fun to be around is if I get my exercise. I
am also a blood donor at our emergency hospital. If a patient needs a blood
transfusion, I donate some blood. Mom says I am a hero!
