This
is Mecho, a mostly mellow Californian Schnorkie, as long as there is
not another deer, cat or dog within a mile radius! His claim to fame is that
he hits a bell with his nose when he has to go out!
He is very special - he hits a pup-level wind chime bell with his nose or
paw whenever he has to go outside - and so has no accidents inside! He is
incredibly territorial and has been seen chasing a small herd of deer down
our hill with reckless abandonment! He doesn't discriminate, he will chase
cats or larger dogs any time, any place, though he is very tolerant of dogs
of equal or smaller stature!
He does on occasion ring the bell when he is feeling neglected, and then
again on occasion when he just wants a nummie, but it's a small price to pay
for the next best thing to flushing the toilet himself! Oh, did we mention,
he rides on our stand-up surfboards too! He stands on the front of the board
and always wears his surfer life jacket! He's been known to be "dog
overboard" at times if he thinks he's going to play ball on the beach! He is
full of Personality! He's our Mecho!!!
