My
name is Zoey Lynn. Lynn is my middle name. Most times everyone just
calls me Zoey but sometimes if I have been a little mischievous they call
me Zoey Lynn. My first owner didn't love me very much and decided they did
not want me. One day when I was about three months old my furr-ever dad and mom
came and got me and took me home to their house and I have been the most
loved puppy ever! I like to wiggle and wag my tail and body a lot when I
see people. I also love to lick people. For some reason when people sneeze,
it just makes me want to lick them more and more.
I have a sister named Sunshine and she is a boxer mix. She and I have great
times together. We love to play tug of war with toys. I love toys with
squeakers but my sister always chews them up so we aren't allowed to have
those kind of toys at my house. However, sometimes mom takes me to
grandma's house and gram buys me toys with squeakers and I get to play with
them at her house. I have a whole basket of toys there and also treats.
Sometimes there are little bowls of appetizers on the floor that I love to
eat but I get into trouble because they tell me that is cat food and I am
not supposed to have it. I don't understand. I would certainly share my
food with those cats.
I learned about cats when I was a very little puppy. My gram has three cats
and apparently they do not like it when energetic puppies chase them. The
first time I met Buddy he whacked me with his paw and I was sad. I didn't
understand why he didn't want to play with me. He has whacked me a couple
more times after that so now I just stay a distance away from him. Someday
I hope to make friends with him.
Sunshine and I have a big yard to run and play in. We chase each other and
sometimes we find sticks to play with but for some reason the hoomans won't
let me eat them! One time when dad went outside without me I accidentally
locked the door on him and he couldn't get back in the house. Aren't I silly?
I also get into trouble sometimes for chewing things that I am not supposed
to have. I guess I haven't learned yet what I am allowed to have and not
have. Gram tells mom she is going to have to "work" with me a little more.
My mom goes to college and she is away sometimes for a month or so and I
get sad but when she comes back I let her know how much I missed her by
kissing her and kissing her and wagging my whole body. She tells me she
loves me all the time and that is a good thing.
I have a pretty good life here in Pennsylvania. I get to sleep in bed with
mom and dad and also I am allowed on the furniture. My mom and dad both
make a great pillow when I want to go to sleep for the night. They love me
more than ever and I am a very happy dog.
