When
we went to buy Patch from the breeder's home, there were seven puppies that
came bounding toward us and I had such a hard time deciding which one I would
want to take home...but then Patch came and parked himself right under my legs
and just sat there so silently while the others jumped and barked and were so
excited. I looked down at Patch and his eyes held such emotion in them that I
just knew that I couldn't leave that house without him in my arms. It was
literally love at first sight.
Patch is such a special dog. He is so emotionally receptive and perceptive,
completely understanding when something is wrong or amiss. He makes any day a
joyous one, no matter how horrible it actually may have been. My day isn't
complete until I make him sleep next to my bed, he refuses to, then jumps on
to my bed and parks his little behind near my face and snores into the night.
I love my Patch and there's nothing in this world that I would want for him
more than to see him always happy, with that mad glint in his eye and that
vigorous wagging of his tail. By the way, these photos are him in his summer
look, it gets way too hot in Dubai for his furry self!
