Mia,
my Aussie is the most lovable and friendly dog around!! She is now twelve
years old, and certainly makes me smile when I see her smile!
She has no tail (which is how Australian Shepherds are supposed to be, don't
worry) but can sure wiggle her butt to show you how excited she is. Mia knows
just about every command you can think of. She knows dead dog, sit, stay,
down, rollover, stand, sit pretty, paw, take a bow, speak, hide and seek, and
find it. I probably forgot some in the list, too!
She is from the herding group and boy do those instincts kick in, she'll herd
just about anything from cats to toddlers. She always makes sure everyone is
together. She has had years of training and even knows some sign language.
She truly is an amazing dog, and I adore her!
