Pierce
was having a rough time when we first got him. He was brought from
California by a shelter and put into a foster home. Somewhere in between he
got hit by a car and had a head injury. To top this off, he had an ear
infection and eye infection by the time I met him. Despite all of this, I
fell in love within minutes. He immediately was affectionate and cuddly. He
did have fairly severe separation anxiety for the first year or so, but soon
was able to conquer his fears. That's all history now!
Pierce is one of the most laid back, affectionate and loving dogs I've ever
met. He loves people, other dogs, kids and babies. He can also go from
lounging on the couch to playing / chasing a toy in a matter of seconds!
Pierce is lucky to now have a brother, Joey the Chihuahua and a sister, Kenya
the black cat. He also gets to go with me to work frequently. He also loves
hiking, camping and getting dirty despite his white fur. Or maybe because of
it? I sure love him!
