My
daughter and I decided to get a dog after the loss of my husband. Pugsley
was born on a farm in Missouri. We had him flown to us, as we are in
Connecticut. Since day one he has been such a bright spot in our lives. He is
always ready to pose for the camera. He has such a cute personality. He loves
his walks, treats, and all the love and attention he receives. And he even
loves wearing his sweaters and outfits - it does get cold here in the winter,
and pugs just do not have very thick fur!
He is our first dog and we have learned a lot from him. He broke his hip
jumping up and down when he was eight months old due to a genetic disease we had
not know he had. We did a lot of work with guidance from his vet, and
rehabbed him in ocean, as that help build strength without putting weight on
the healing bone. He falls asleep in our laps and is a great snuggler. He is
quite a blessing in our lives, and we could not imagine life without him! Our
Pugsley means the world to us.
