Hi,
my name is Ashleigh. My grammy is helping me write this. J.J. is not my
first dog. I had another dog and his name was Jack. My grammy loved Captain
Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, so we named my first
dog Jack, but sadly he was hit by a car. Jack was our family dog, loved by
everyone, but J.J. (Jack Jr.) has become my dog.
J.J. is a Cairn Terrier. That is the breed of Toto in, "The Wizard of Oz!" So
he definitely has movie connections! He is a loving dog to me. He likes to
carry a stuffed animal on his walks and around the house. J.J. and I play
together around the house. J.J. is very protective around me. I have been
very sick and when I was, J.J. will always be by my side. He sleeps with me
through the night. No one can come near me unless he knows them.
J.J. wakes me up in the morning with kisses on my face, which is the best!
J.J. loves to take naps! I have to say sometimes I don't want to feed him, as
sometimes I am too tired! But he does get fed then by my Poppy or Grammy. We
love J.J. so much! He is perfect, cuddles with me when I am sick, and always
protects me. He is family!
