Cash
came into our lives at just the right time. We had just lost our Jack
Russell Lucy, in February 2012, and our Corgi Abigail, in June of that
same year. We were all reeling from the loss, especially our King Shepherd
Emma. She was very lonely and her "human pack" just wasn't the whole
answer. We weren't really ready to get another dog, at least our hearts
weren't, but through a twist of fate, Cash was born in October of that
same year. We wanted another girl, as that was what we had always had.
Again, fate stepped in because there were only three puppies born in that
litter, and they were all male. So we took a leap of faith, and the rest is history.
Cash and his big sister Emma are best friends, and it has been that way
since the day we brought him home. He has brought joy and laughter back in
all of our lives. There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't make us
laugh at some antic of his. Believe it or not, he has had a calming effect
on Emma! I think it may be because she can't believe so much energy is in
one little package, or he just flat wears her out!
He's a bundle of energy, and all about playing, with anything, anyone,
anywhere - you get the picture. His most favorite thing to do is run, so
ball chasing is high on his list. He catches on to new things quickly, but
likes to do them on his terms. He knows several tricks, but would rather
play than show you. I'm hoping to start agility with him this year.
Actually, I'm hoping I can keep up with him!
As I said before, he came into our lives at just the right time. He's our special boy, and we love him very much!
