Roxy
lives a dog's dream life. We travel full time in our RV, so she gets to
go new and exciting places, and meet new people all the time. She loves
people, and she is pretty certain that everyone is there to see her.
She might be little, but she is mighty. She can hike all over, and chase
squirrels. Her favorite thing is laying in the sun, though. We try to park
the RV so our big windows face south, and she lays on the back of the couch
taking full advantage of this. She is joy, and is so loving and wonderful all the time.
Roxy is seven pounds of pure personality. My brother had her dad, a pure white
Pomeranian, and his room mate had a black chihuahua. She had four puppies, and
all of them looked different. I had pick of the litter, and chose Roxy. Roxy
came into my life at a time when I really needed the love of a dog. She was
so tiny and used to curl up on my chest to sleep. She still is a tiny snuggle
bug, preferring to be next to me over anywhere else. She had gotten more
white over the years, she was really gray as a young dog. And if you are
wondering, that's actually pink nail polish in that one picture, she is
pretty good about me painting her toes.
Roxy adores people, and makes everyone feel they are so special because she
is sitting on their lap. She loves to "talk" too. She doesn't bark, but makes
funny noises instead, and can actually say mama. This trait has brought
laughter in some pretty funny places. Like the time I was at a blogging
conference and she started talking. Everyone turned around to see where this
funny talking dog was. She is an awesome little dog.
