For
a dog breed that has a bad reputation, our Penny is beyond docile. I
brought her home as a surprise for my family and my two other dogs s few days
after Christmas last year. A teenage girl was asking for a donation of a
hundred dollars for this gorgeous five-week-old blue-nose pitbull puppy. She
was already separated from her mother before I arrived to see her, but
appeared to be doing okay with it. I knew immediately that we were destined
to be together when I saw those adorable pittie wrinkles on her face.
As she matures, she is wonderfully gentle and patient with all people,
especially children. Most of the day she spends playing with her dog brothers
and my daughter Catrina, who is her best friend. I also noticed that she
loves, loves water to play in. So needless to say, we provided her with a
baby pool that she spent most of the warm months in splashing and barking.
Now that the winter months are arriving, I'm wondering if snow will hold the
same pleasure for her. In conclusion, Penny had brought nothing but fun and
wonderment to our household.
