Brixy
was born on May 4, 2012. I think her eyes and her character are part of
what makes her special! She is very playful and sometimes she is very loud,
especially when someone come visit us! She starts barking and running around
the kitchen, and of course she must jump on the chair which is near the
window and watch the people who are coming in to visit. But once they come
into the house, she is very friendly.
Brixy has always been very energetic, so I decided she should do something
and so I started teaching her tricks. She know many tricks both because I
think Cavaliers are very clever breed, and of course Brixy is very smart,
too. She knows tricks like: high five, dance, down, release, come, stand,
jumping people, jumping through a hoop, spin, roll over, sit pretty (beg),
play dead, jump on my back, jump into my arms and kiss (a favorite). We also
do agility. This a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an
obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. Dogs run off-leash with
no food or toys as incentive!
Brixy is definitely affectionate type of dog. She has five puppies (three boys
and two girls) and she is very good mom. She always keeps counting them and is always
keeping eye on them because they are very energetic - just like her! We love Brixy!
