Rocky
is a personal dog of mine and my therapy dog for my own high anxiety.
He is such a sweet heart and has been for the last eight years. We rescued him
from death row, due in part to his "inability to be homed" due to his hyper
nature. Labs are energetic puppies, and Border Collies are also known for
that, and for being dogs that "need" a job, so he was not happy in the
shelter setting.
Rocky has been there through so much in life as a young teen and now adult.
But he is the perfect dog for me. If I am having a rough time or I'm upset,
he will crawl into my lap and nuzzle his face into mine. I am so glad to be
his mom because he is the angel in my life.
