Introducing
August Xavier, my CKC Rough Collie. I have two dogs, Penny was my
first and now August. I'm eighteen I've been around dogs my entire life and I've
been training dogs for three years!
Why is he so special to me? Because this dog has literally saved my life. I
went into a depression and angry state, and I was having a tough time getting
through it. When I got him at the age of three months, everything changed.
Suddenly I had something to do, and someone to look forward to seeing in the
mornings. I trained him and worked with him every day. Hopefully I be able to
show him some day. He knows a few good tricks that are different than the
basic ones, such as bow, shut the door, turn off lights, jump on command, and
count numbers (he barks)!
He may have his ups and downs but He's an amazing dog and I love him very
much. If it weren't for him and my dog Penny I would not be here right now!
