Duke is actually my brother's dog. My brother brought him from people
that lived around the corner from us. When we got him he was pure white.
He had no spots at all, well, apart from above his eye. My brother never
played with him very much. I played with him along with my little
sister, so he likes me and my sister most. He lives with my mother and
Father on a farm. I don't live with them anymore. I did live with him
when we were at the old place. When I come over to stay, he is so excited
to see me, he puts his ears back and wags his whole butt.
Duke is very childish sometimes. He loves playing with other animals,
like our cats. They don't like playing though. He doesn't realize how
big he is so tends to play rough with smaller animals. He's neutered so
he's really muscular, not fat. He's very protective of the chickens on the
farm. We have a wild Goanna at the farm so he goes to check on the
chickens every now and then. When he was a pup he had a shoelace biting
habit. He doesn't have that anymore. He came with us for a bush walk one
day, and he kept stopping and waiting for us to catch us. He's the most
caring dog I know. He lets my sister Katie jump all over him without
getting angry. You just have to love him.
