This is Odie, our Great Pyrenees. He was named after the dog in the Garfield cartoons. When he protects the yard and house, he works so hard. He protects our cat from other cats most of the time. He is a big dog but he still acts like a young puppy.
He isn't our first dog, we've had so many dogs over the years. The last one we lost was a while ago. Odie is affectionate but doesn't kiss anyone. He seems to love me more when I am eating. He barks a lot, but not as much when he's inside, though outside, he'll be alert. When the Meals on Wheels driver comes, he knows ahead of time before he arrives, and when the train goes through, he loves being out there because so many people slow down. He is loving yet he is also stubborn. We love him!
