Hallie
is a very special pup! She was found on the streets of Chicago and
brought to the pound. When she was initially found, she had recently had
puppies at only one year old and she was very swollen and extremely skinny
from life on the streets and lack of after-birth care. She was rescued from
death row by a local no-kill shelter where I met her, fell in love and took her home.
Hallie was very unsure at first. She bonded immediately to me, but it took a
long time for her to get comfortable enough to go on walks again. Despite her
rough puppy start, she has grown into a sweet, cuddly and goofy little girl.
She loves to play and meet new people. Hallie is notorious for sitting
wherever she pleases, including shoulders, chests, knees and the top of a
couch (like a cat). She is precious!
