We
have a dog, his name is Merlin. He was born in September 2010. His mother
was a mixture of Australian Shepherd and Shetland Sheepdog. His father was a
mixture of Jack Russell Terrier and Dalmatian. Merlin has five brothers and
sisters, and they all look different. Merlin is black with one white spot on
the chest. His hair is long and soft and shiny.
Merlin is a real member of our family. We all love him very much. My sister
often says that Merlin is her favourite brother. Merlin can even do some
tricks. When we ask "Where is the pupil?" he lifts his paw. His favourite
order is "Plumps!" Then he lies on his back and wants us to pet him.
When I come back from school, he waves with his tail. After dinner I go
outside with Merlin. Sometimes we meet others dogs, then Merlin plays with
them. He has got a lot of friends. His best friends are two Australian
Shepherds named Jabbo and Snooker. Sometimes he stays at their home, when we
are on a short holiday. Merlin is happiest when the whole family is around
him. When we are in the living room, he likes to jump on the sofa. My father
doesn't like it, but my mother enjoys it. So he gets away with it!
