Sasha is the most special dog that I have ever had.
She seems to have a sense of humor and is always knowing what to do to make me laugh. She loves water so much that sometimes I think she is a seal not a dog. Once she gets into any body of water she will not
get out without me almost having to get in to get her. She will dive down to the bottom if she thinks there is something to play with.
She is friendly to all other animals. Dogs cats birds any animals. But she prefers people most of all. She never barks when people knock on the door. Instead she wags her tail and goes to see who is coming to visit her. Everyday when I return home from work Sasha is waiting on the driveway of my house. She wants to see me as soon as she can and does not want to wait till I walk into the house. She loves to cuddle and we keep each other warm on cold nights.
I first saw Sasha when she was only two weeks old. And it was love at first sight. I purchased her right then and there. Because she was too young to take from her mother I had to wait four more weeks before I could take her home with me. Those were the longest weeks of my life.
I almost lost Sasha last fall. The home next to ours caught fire while I was a work. And caught our home on fire as a result. I came home on my break like I do every day with no knowledge of what had happened. I saw all the fire trucks around my home and my heart fell into my stomach.
I couldn't bear the thought of what had happened to my best friend. But as I came to the fireman, there she was. She was happier than ever to see me, and doing her little happy dance she does. The fireman had to rip the front door off to get her out. Sasha is as special as I always tell her she is, the best dog ever in the history of the world. And I love her so much.
